Assalamualaikum! Hi! Sorry again for my long absence from this blog. I've been receiving so many homework to do from school and God knows when will I finish it. So I just wanted to share you guys about what I've been doing recently. As you would know, my previous post was a picture during Eid Mubarak. Yes! Eid Mubarak. It's been almost a month of Eid. That's what most Malaysian do when it's Eid. You fast a month, you celebrate Eid a month. Also, this is my second year celebrating Eid in United Kingdom.

About school, I've got certain subject that I have to get stuck in to get my results. So I can do what I want in college next year. But still, I haven't choose any college to visit. Any advice for me?

For my photography diary, I have shot a lot of celebration of Eid Open Houses. FYI I still got another one today and it might be the last one for this year. As for the future, I might post about my photoshop tips and more about composition. Till again I'll post another post in this blog. Laters!

This Exmoor trip was back in last spring. At least my family manage to get the family going somewhere in this country. Yes Exmoor! Probably one of my favourite landscape location to shoot. This is Wimbleball Lake. I though Exmoor was just one county but it has lots of places for you to explore the nature. It's also quite near to Bristol. It took us about 2 hours to get there and lucky for us the rain stopped. Okay lets stop talking about Exmoor.

In landscape photography, it's obvious that you need to be somewhere in nature or forest. For that point, location is brutal and has a lot of impact can be done to your photo. Always do some research before you go to any trips, or else it could happen something else.

About my 3rd picture above, that's my family photo taken with my camera on a tripod. Other than that, the tripod was placed on a really high position because I could get my family in the foreground and the background to be the heaven view of the lake. That's also one of the composition tips: get high, so you can get a different perspective. Your photo will then have interesting and fun view to see.

Street Photography | The Introduction

Street photography. Street photography is capturing a moment or candid on the streets of the city. This also involves capturing what you see and what your heart wants. Capturing these moments also need to be compose into a story of yours.

Oh, how I love street photography! For me, this is a very hard task to get the picture you want. It takes a lot of guts to do it on the streets and you sometimes don't want people to notice that you're taking the person's picture. I know you will feel really scared when it's about taking pictures of strangers.

What I usually do when taking pictures on the street, I sometimes stay a place which is in public. If it was a private place, for example in a building or a shopping mall, you might want to keep an eye on the security guards. I've been stopped quite a lot from them. Or you could do taking pictures in groups, if it's in a private place. One more thing when you get stopped or being questioned, be polite with them. It's their responsibility to keep the place safe. If they say "no pictures" then stay away. Respect them.

Obviously when it comes to capture the picture, I recommend people using telephoto lens (long lens). It would be an ideal position for you to take many street shots. Sometimes, lots of photographer use a prime lens. For example, the 50mm f1.4. That lens is probably one of the favourite lens ever used by any photographer. (I will tell you about lens relationship with photography in another post sooner or later)

If you want to try this, go ahead. I will ashore you it will be fun. Remember to be patient when it comes to get the picture you want and you'll be happy to do street photography.

In progress.....FINISH!

My new blog has nearly finished after all the design is being done. Very challenging for me to do this because it got me confused how to do all these stuff. However, I think I'm happy with this design and I will try and post something for you guys soon as possible...

For now it's the month of ramadhan and I'm patiently trying to fast 18 hours in United Kingdom (not like in Malaysia for like 14 hours only) but it's a test for me and all Muslims out there.

Welcome to my Photoblog!

Welcome to my world!

Assalamualaikum and welcome to my photoblog! It's been quite a while I have planning to do a photoblog and now I have done it. But I need to get my mood back because when it comes to blogs; I have a confession that I'm lazy to blog. Therefore, I will probably blog once a week or if I have any free time I will do so.

Just to write a brief about my photography, I started back in the early 2009. At that moment too, I arrived to a new country; United Kingdom. I'm actually accompany my mom for her PhD. It will probably take her 4 years to finish her study. Other than that, the first thing I notice about photography, it's not something about "snap snap" but it's more to art and expressing yourself. There is always a method to get the "perfect" picture.

It's been two years already I've done photography as part of my life. And I haven't got a DSLR for myself. Yes I have a superzoom camera only, which has lasted for 5 years already. Probably the most powerful quote I've ever heard is "it's not the camera, it's the person behind it". Think about it. I hope you enjoy my new blog. Bye for now..
